The Captain Paul F. Foye Chapter is the Connecticut-area chapter of the Coast Guard Academy Parents Association. The CGA Parents Association is "a non-profit organization which exists for the sole purpose of supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and its Corps of Cadets.” Chapter members are all parents of current cadets and are interested in doing what we can to help cadets during their stay at the Academy.

Our chapter focus is morale activities. All of the money we raise goes to special events designed to help keep up the spirits of the cadets. Academy life can be very strenuous at times (military training, academics, sports, duties, etc.) and anything we can do to let our cadets know that we are all pulling for them is our top priority.

We support activities benefiting the entire Corps of Cadets, which are Corps-driven through the Morale Company.
Ask a Parent

Do you have questions about life at the Academy, cadet activities, schedules and more? Ask a Parent aims to answer questions related to the entire Corps of Cadets.

Join the Parents Association today to help support the Corps of Cadets, the Coast Guard Academy and to connect with other parents.
Local chapters raise funds necessary to support the needs of the cadets through the sale of CGA items. At the local chapter level, funds are used for a activities such as welcome aboard picnics, Fall Meet-and-Greets, and AIM seminars.
The local chapters are an extremely important source of information and support for parents of cadets. Regional chapters hold periodic meetings and provide face-to-face support for parents in their local area.
