The CGA Parents Association, with assistance from the USCGA Alumni Association, raises funds through the Parents Giving Program. These funds directly support initiatives targeted at enhancing cadet life and allow the Academy to overcome any shortfalls in appropriations. Funds raised through the Program are split between two key areas: the Parents Gift Fund and the CGA Today! Fund.
We ask that you join us today in support of the Academy and the Corps!
The Parents Gift Fund
This year, the Parents Association committed their support to the future Strength & Conditioning Center with a leadership pledge of $1,000,000. This new center will be used exclusively by the Corps of Cadets.

In addition to the Strength & Conditioning Center, gifts to the Parents Gift Fund help finance activities, projects, facilities upgrades, and transportation. Currently, the Parents Association is purchasing an additional van for cadet transportation. The fund also goes toward copiers, coffee machines, toaster ovens, TVs, and other equipment for cadet’s common areas and helps to finance club teams' travel costs during postseason competition.
CGA Today! Fund
Gifts made to the CGA Today! Fund are unrestricted and support the area of greatest need at the Academy, as deemed by the Alumni Association Board of Directors in conjunction with Academy leadership.
